STEREOGUM is exclusively premiering “Kenaston” from Chilly Gonzales’ new album, ‘Solo Piano II,’ out 8/28.
The Paris-based “maverick king” (NME) has also confirmed additional North American tour dates kicking off 11/1 at Lincoln Center in NYC with a 10-piece chamber orchestra and including stops at San Francisco’s Swedish American Music Hall 11/2 and The Bootleg Theatre in Los Angles 11/3. See below for complete dates or visit our Shows section for more details.
‘Solo Piano II’ is already earning raves in Europe, with Mojo and Uncut both awarding the record 4-star reviews. After his performance earlier this month at the legendary Fringe Festival (wearing his trademark slippers and robe onstage), Edinburgh’s The Big Issue professed, “His comic timing would put many of the top stand-ups to shame… awkward, subversive and hilarious, he is an oddball genius.”

11/3 – Los Angeles, CA @ Bootleg Theatre

Just heard you on NPR. I’m one of the old, non downloading persons who lives in America.
I used to like your music.
